Anna Lord is a destination filmmaker who creates a moment in time that encourages you to sink into a dream.
A moment in time for Anna is observing as couples are given a chance to slow down & take it all in, watching the way the sun is setting & hearing the songs the birds are singing in the trees. Whether she is giving brands a voice to tell their story through a unique perspective of beauty or capturing love, Anna seeks out organic emotions & the beauty that surrounds her subjects, then shares this experience with those on the outside looking in. She invites you to peer through the camera with her as she creates artful works of motion that are authentic and timeless, allowing time to linger & highlighting each personal detail. This lover of languages understands the unspoken language of dreams & story-telling. She is a night-owl who reminisces on the people & places she has encountered through her travels as she makes her way to the next place on her list.

Following the years she spent in Northridge to get her degree in Fine Art & French, she lived in many cities in the United States & the South of France — both of which greatly influenced her work. The way she captures beauty has also been shaped by traveling, as she has been introduced to people in diverse places & cultures. Over the course of the twelve years that Anna has been working as a visual artist, her work has been featured in The Knot, Elle, The New York Times, Brides & Over the Moon — platforms that show her unique style & expertise.

It is not enough to know your craft - you have to have feeling. Science is all very well, but for us imagination is worth far more.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
Creative consideration and precision, the composing of a dance between lovers from behind my lens, my capturing of life and love coming together as one. This moment, far from fleeting, letters of endearment evolving into a sacred union as a result of pleasing connection and deepened knowledge of souls. Elegance and romance knip at my feet as art and film intertwine to exhibit fingers laced, manifested through my dream to travel the world through enchanting stories.
